Area Agency on Aging, Region One, Now Offering Monthly Office Hours at Benevilla Education Center

Benevilla is proud to announce a valuable new partnership with the Area Agency on Aging, Region One, to provide monthly in-person office hours at the Benevilla Education Center, located at 14601 N. Del Webb Blvd, Sun City, AZ 85351. This initiative brings vital support services directly to the West Valley community, helping older adults, caregivers, and families access a wide range of programs and resources.

Beginning May 16, Area Agency on Aging representatives will be available every third Friday of the month, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., to offer personalized support and guidance. Appointments are required and can be scheduled by visiting https://benevilla.org/aaa/ or calling 623-584-4999.

Available Programs and Resources Include:

  • Adaptive Aides – Assistance with eyeglasses for seniors (60+) below 150% of the federal poverty level.
  • Benefits Assistance Program – Counseling on Medicare options and support in resolving Medicare issues.
  • DOVES Program – Domestic violence counseling for victims of late-life abuse.
  • elderCONNECT – No-cost smart tablets and in-home training to reduce social isolation.
  • ElderVention Clinical Services – Virtual and in-home mental health counseling for homebound seniors.
  • EMPOWER – An in-home empowerment program to prevent elder mistreatment and build critical life skills.
  • Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program – Advocacy and education for individuals in or seeking assisted living, memory care, or skilled nursing facilities.
  • Hoarding Therapy Program – Therapy and group support for seniors coping with hoarding behaviors.
  • Legal Assistance – Free legal guidance and resources tailored for senior citizens.
  • Ring Security Camera Program – No-cost Ring stick-up cameras for eligible seniors in Maricopa County, improving home safety and peace of mind.
  • RX Matters – Education on safe medication use and disposal, including medication disposal envelopes.
  • SAIL (Senior Adult Independent Living) – Case management, home-delivered meals, light housekeeping, personal care, and adult day health services for homebound seniors and adults with disabilities.
