Benevilla April 14th Free Workshop Targets Caregiver Stress Management

March 29, 2021

Stress management and self-care are difficult enough, but tend to be even harder for those who have significant caregiving responsibilities.  Many people, especially seniors, have so many responsibilities in life they forget to take care of their own personal needs. And while it’s hard to prioritize when you have so many other items on your to-do list, self-care is an important aspect of stress management. Learn tips and tricks to ensure you are taking care of yourself while taking care of your loved one.  Join our Benevilla C.A.R.E.S. care management expert, Crystal Littlejohn, MHSA, CMC, CSA from Geriatric Resources, LLC on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at 1:30PM and learn how to prioritize your schedule and improve your physical and emotional health.

As a Certified Geriatric Care Manager, Crystal has spent her career in service to seniors. She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Plymouth State University, as well as a master’s degree in Health Services Administration from Strayer University.

During a health care career spanning almost 25 years, Crystal has obtained quality experience in the assisted living, skilled nursing, assisted living memory care, hospice, and geriatric care management arenas.

This free presentation is part of the yearlong Benevilla C.A.R.E.S. Virtual “Educational Workshop” series featuring carefully selected professionals who can answer your questions and provide guidance and resources you may need to prepare for senior life changes, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.  To reduce the risk of public exposure during the COVID-19 pandemic, Benevilla has chosen to convert all their popular education workshops into live stream, online Zoom events.  Benevilla will continue, for the near future, using the online Zoom format for their workshops.  Upcoming workshops cover a broad range of important topics from in-home care management and hospice to estate preparation and tax savings tips.

Reservations are required. When you register for the event, please provide a working email address.   You will then be provided a secure link and password as well as easy to follow instructions on how to attend via the secure Zoom video conference application. Please call Benevilla at 623-584-4999 or visit https://benevilla.org/community-events/ to reserve your spot.
