September 08, 2022

Benevilla is excited to announce the launch of their new “Lunchtime Learning Series” with a workshop titled “The 5 Biggest Myths Surrounding Hospice Care.” The workshop will be Wednesday, September 21st from 12:30 PM to 1:00PM. This live In-Person/Zoom interactive presentation features senior care expert, Sylvia Butler from Hospice of the West. Both palliative care and hospice care provide comfort and support while attending to the emotional and spiritual needs of those facing an end-of-life situation. Join Sylvia as she clears up the biggest myths around what hospice care really is.

This FREE presentation is part of the newly reformatted Benevilla “Educational Workshop Series.” The new workshops will be held twice a month on Wednesdays. Benevilla understands how valuable your time is. So, they restructured their workshops to get you the critical information you need in a framework that’s quick and to the point. Each workshop is only 30 minutes long and ends with an in-depth question and answer period. Each presentation is hosted by carefully selected local professionals who can answer your questions and provide guidance and resources you may need to prepare for senior life changes.

Topics were chosen for their relevance in meeting the challenges of the aging. Presentations will be a “Bullet Point” format and will cover key topics including:
• Top 10 Resources for Living Independently
• Top 5 Reasons a Fiduciary is Important
• 10 Hidden Costs of Senior Living Communities.
• 7 Senior Housing Options – Which Is Best for You?
• Top 5 Cost Savings with Home Care
• 10 Priorities in Estate Planning

The workshops will be held live in the Bovard room in the offices of the Benevilla main campus located at 16752 N. Greasewood Street, Surprise, 85378. You can choose to participate in-person. If you have access to a computer, and you rather participate from home, you can also join these workshops live online.
