Benevilla Hosting “Care for the Caregiver” Online Workshop January 13th

January 07, 2021

Benevilla will be hosting an important, interactive workshop called “Care for the Caregiver” at 1:30PM Wednesday, January 13th on the Zoom online video conference platform.  Are you or do you know someone who is on the caregiver journey?  Benevilla understands the stress this pandemic has put on our caregivers and we know the needs of caregivers will not pause as this pandemic continues.

The best way to take care of others is to take care of yourself.  Learn ways to make sure you are still a priority while providing quality care for your loved ones.  Join two Benevilla C.A.R.E.S. (Community Assistance, Resources, Education & Support) experts, Sean Twohy from Adultcare Assistance Homecare and Presley Reader from ComForCare Home Care who can answer your questions and help you balance the demands of keeping those you care for safe and healthy with your responsibilities to yourself, your family, your work, and your community.

This free presentation is part of the yearlong Benevilla community “Educational” series workshops featuring carefully selected professionals who can answer your questions and provide guidance and resources you may need to prepare for senior life changes, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.  The best part of the workshop series is there is absolutely no sales pitch—just timely information from an expert in the field.  It will feel like you are right there on our Surprise campus talking to our expert partners.

To reduce the risk of public exposure during the COVID-19 pandemic, Benevilla has chosen to convert all their popular education workshops into live stream, online Zoom events.  Benevilla will continue, for the near future, using the online Zoom format for their workshops.  Upcoming workshops cover a broad range of important topics from in-home care management and hospice to estate preparation and tax savings tips.

Reservations are required. When you register for the event, please provide a working email address.   You will then be provided a secure link and password as well as easy to follow instructions on how to attend via the secure Zoom video conference application. Please call Benevilla at 623-584-4999 or visit https://benevilla.org/community-events/ to reserve your spot.
