Benevilla will host an important financial planning workshop via the Zoom online video platform Tuesday, February 23rd at 1:30PM. This free, interactive workshop titled “When to Use a Fiduciary” will be hosted by Toni Nelson, Senior Case Manager with Managed Protective Services who will discuss financial and medical planning and how a fiduciary may be able to help manage your affairs when needed. A fiduciary can serve in any number of roles in your estate both before and after your death. They act in your best interests and they must set aside their own personal motivations in favor of your goals and wellbeing. Benevilla understands making informed decisions about protecting your finances is even more important now facing the daily challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
To reduce the risk of public exposure during the COVID-19 pandemic, Benevilla has chosen to convert all their popular education workshops into live stream, online Zoom events. This free, interactive presentation is part of the yearlong Benevilla community “Educational” series workshops featuring carefully selected professionals who can answer your questions and provide guidance and resources you may need to prepare for senior life changes, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The best part of the workshop series is there is absolutely no sales pitch—just timely information from an expert in the field. It will feel like you are right there on our Surprise campus talking to our expert partners.
Benevilla will continue, for the near future, using the online Zoom format for their workshops. Upcoming workshops cover a broad range of important topics from in-home care management and hospice to estate preparation and tax savings tips.
Reservations are required. When you register for the event, please provide a working email address. You will then be provided a secure link and password as well as easy to follow instructions on how to attend via the secure Zoom video conference application. Please call Benevilla at 623-584-4999 or visit https://benevilla.org/community-events/ to reserve your spot.
