Benevilla “Independent at Home” Live Online Workshop May 14th

April 30, 2020

Benevilla is excited sign-ups for their first online “Educate with the Experts” interactive workshop for seniors are brisk even as the population practices self-isolation and sheltering at home during the COVID-19 pandemic.  The May 14th event titled “Independent at Home” will explore personal care services and what community resources are available for older adults finding it increasingly difficult to enjoy an active social lifestyle. The live tele-conference, Thursday, May 14th from 1:30pm until 3:00PM will be hosted by experts Presley Reader from ComForCare Home Care and Tony Biancardi from NeighborCare Services.

In order to reduce the risk of public exposure, Benevilla has chosen to convert their popular education workshops into live stream, online video events.  Benevilla will use the safe, easy to use and intuitive Zoom audio/video conference platform to host these live presentations. It will feel like you are right there on our Surprise campus talking to our expert partners. Speakers are all carefully selected professionals who can answer your questions and provide guidance and resources you need to prepare for senior life changes.

Benevilla will continue, for the near future, using the online format for the workshops. Upcoming workshops will cover a broad range of important topics from in-home care management and hospice to estate preparation and tax savings tips. Speakers are all carefully selected professionals who can answer your questions and provide guidance and resources you need to prepare for senior life changes especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
