Benevilla Releases Dates for Fall Free Education Workshops

June 03, 2020

Benevilla is excited to announce their schedule of free educational events for caregivers and senior community members looking for information and resources, taking place throughout the second half of 2020.  Included in the schedule are the popular “Educate with the Experts” interactive informational workshops as well as financial and estate planning seminars.  All Benevilla Educational events feature expert speakers covering a wide variety of senior care topics.

From in-home care options and hospice to estate preparation and tax tips, participants will receive valuable information from subject-matter experts who can address individual questions as well. Here is a look at the event schedule:

        • August 19:                  Alphabet Soup: AL, IL, MC, SNF – What Do They All Mean?
  • September 16:            Independence is Key! – Options for Remaining Independent at Home.
  • October 14:                The Big Difference: Hospice vs. Palliative Care.
  • October 27:                Tax Planning for this Chaotic Time.
  • November 12:            How to Invest During Uncertainty.
  • December 2:              All About Arizona State Tax Credits.
  • December 16:            Get Your “Docs” in a Row.

Pending any significant changes to the government sanctioned social distancing mandates, Benevilla is inviting you to join them online for the continuance of their popular education workshops as live stream, online video events in order to mitigate the risk of public exposure to COVID-19.  Benevilla realizes our senior population is the most vulnerable to the Coronavirus and it is becoming increasingly important seniors practice self-isolation and stay at home during the pandemic.

Benevilla will use the safe, easy to use and intuitive Zoom audio/video conference platform to host the live presentations. It will feel like you are right there on our Surprise campus listening and asking questions to our expert partners. Our speakers are all carefully selected professionals who can answer your questions and provide guidance and resources you need to prepare for senior life changes.

These events are free to attend, but reservations are required. When you register for an event, you will be asked to give your email address and you will be provided a link and password to attend via Zoom. Please call Benevilla at 623-584-4999 or visit our website at www.Benevilla.org/community-events to register or find more information. For those without internet access, on-site availability may be an option for limited group sizes.  Updated information will follow as things progress.
