Benevilla, the West Valley’s premier family services nonprofit has again joined the global movement called GivingTuesday, a day of giving harnessing the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide. Occurring this year on December 3rd, GivingTuesday is held annually on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving.
All donations Benevilla receives as a participant of GivingTuesday will be used directly for their “Home Services” program Benevilla provides free to homebound seniors in our community. These services include grocery shopping, assisted transportation, friendly visitors, phone pals, handyman services and business assistance all provided by wonderful Benevilla volunteers.
