Join our team as our: Volunteer Services Manager
- Location: Volunteer Services Program- Sun City West, AZ.
- Rate of Pay: $27.16 ph, 40 hrs per week Monday through Friday, Hourly/Non-Exempt position
What qualifications do you need?
- Able to reliably commute or planning to relocate to Peoria/Sun City/Surprise, AZ area before starting work. (No Relocation Assistance).
- 5 years’ experience in social services, nonprofit management, HR or resource management working with volunteers in a health care or related field required.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
- Proven experience in volunteer management and recruitment in non-profit organizations preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to meet people with ease, communicate one-on-one and in group settings.
- Skilled communicator, both written and verbal, and able to provide effective public speaking and presentations.
- Promote team building and experience in a leadership role required.
- Possess excellent time management to meet deadlines, juggle multiple tasks and achieve required outcomes.
- Detail orientated and data driven, monitor and report team outcomes and goal analysis.
- Proficient in Microsoft office software.
What will you be doing?
- The purpose of this position is to develop and supervise the volunteer services department to include all points of the volunteer life cycle: agency needs assessment, recruitment, interviewing, orientation, placement, recognition and retention. The position will identify and implement a comprehensive action plan to strengthen and enhance the volunteer services program to impact all areas of the Benevilla programs. The Volunteer Services Manager will build a strategic, engaged volunteer experience and will cultivate long-term relationships to drive the Benevilla mission.
