Learn About Zoom at Benevilla Free Virtual Workshop January 7th

December 30, 2020

Please join marketing expert, Jay Lickus from Benevilla, January 7, 2021 at 9:30AM via the Zoom audio/video online platform as he hosts a workshop called “How to Zoom.”  Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and social distancing, many community events, social interactions and even family visits are now held via Zoom.   Zoom is a free service letting you video chat with large groups of people on your computer or mobile device.  To reduce the risk of public exposure during the COVID-19 pandemic, Benevilla has chosen to convert all their popular education workshops into live stream, online Zoom events.  You will learn all the Zoom basics from safe login and audio/video settings to social interaction through chat and breakout rooms and even how to host you own zoom get together with your family if you choose.

The big difference between Zoom and other video chat services is the number of possible participants. While Skype can have up to 50 callers in a single meeting, a Zoom meeting can have up to a thousand participants, showing up to 49 of them in a grid layout. Businesses, schools, companies, and many other organizations use Zoom to conduct meetings, hold classes, and host virtual events.  The best part is participants do not need a Zoom account or even the Zoom app to join a meeting.

This FREE presentation is part of the Benevilla popular community “Educate with the Experts” series.  Each workshop features carefully selected professionals who can answer your questions and provide guidance and resources you may need to prepare for senior life changes, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.  The best part of the workshop series is there is absolutely no sales pitch—just timely information from an expert in the field.  It will feel like you are right there on our Surprise campus talking to our expert partners.

Benevilla will continue, for the near future, using the online Zoom format for their workshops. Upcoming workshops cover a broad range of important topics from in-home care management and hospice to estate preparation and tax savings tips.

Reservations are required. When you register for the event, please provide a working email address.   You will then be provided a secure link and password as well as easy to follow instructions on how to attend via the secure Zoom video conference application.
