Birt’s Bistro Restaurant on the Benevilla Surprise campus is excited to announce another amazing weekend of great free, live and local music as their weekend Happy Hour concerts continue next Friday and Saturday nights. Kicking off Friday night, March 13th will be a special concert with the return of the “Arizona Swing Kings” starring Katie Iverson on vocals. This 19-piece big band will light up the dance floor from 5PM until 7PM as they perform their “Great American Songbook. There will be a $5 cover charge for this concert.
Saturday, March 14th, marks the much-anticipated appearance of “Steve Klassen” at Birt’s Bistro. Steve will entertain all with his special songs and acoustic guitar playing. Steven Klassen spent his early years living with his grandparents and playing spoons along with Grandpa Nick on an old Gibson acoustic. Steven now writes songs about his grandchildren, love songs, folk songs, anti-war songs and mystical meditation folk music. Birt’s Bistro is located on the main Benevilla campus at the Hellen & John M. Jacobs Independence Plaza, 16752 N. Greasewood Street in Surprise.
Birt’s Bistro will feature their popular “Happy Hour” promotions. During concert times there will be specials on appetizers, food, wine and beers. Since there are no reservations, it is highly recommended you arrive early. Birt’s Bistro, Boutique and Bookstore always serves up a fun music and dining experience.
Birt’s Bistro is a social enterprise where every purchase helps fund Benevilla programs and services.
