Community Assistance, Resources, Education & Support
For over 40 years Benevilla has provided caregiver resources you may need, free of charge. We can answer a variety of questions like, how to find a ride to the doctor or how to find a reputable home care service. Our highly trained Resource Specialists have access to a database of over 1,000 senior services providers and agencies, including Benevilla member and volunteer services, community businesses, government agencies, and other resources to help you stay independent at home.
Benevilla C.A.R.E.S. (Community Assistance, Resources, Education & Support) is designed to provide assistance with concerns of care giving or other related needs impacting your life or a family member’s life. Our Resource Specialists are available to help you by phone or in person. There is no charge for this service. Our Specialists will place you with the right Benevilla program or service, if our programs or services do not address your needs, we will connect you with an organization or agency that can assist you.

Free Caregiver Support Groups
Benevilla C.A.R.E.S. offers friendly and professionally run support groups. Taking care of someone can be difficult. Experiencing the end of a loved one’s life can be lonely. Connecting with peers who are going though similar experiences can make a positive impact on the caregiver’s life. Caregivers also benefit from hearing speakers who can educate and provide answers to many questions. We are here to help you on your caregiver journey.

Educational Events
The Benevilla C.A.R.E.S. team hosts a variety of different educational events throughout the year. These include our bi-annual Caregiver Connect events for family caregivers and our monthly Educational Workshops with expert presenters discussing financial and senior health related topics for those needing guidance and support. All events are open to the public.
