Taking care of someone can be difficult. Support groups offer friends who can relate to your daily ups and downs and professionals who offer information and assistance.

Welcome Our New Support Group Facilitator – Stephanie Lamb

Stephanie Lamb Benevilla

Stephanie is a wife of 19 years to her husband, Rob, and Mom to two amazing kids, Savannah & Rylan, and one fur baby, her Maltipoo, Tucker. Stephanie is a lover of adventure and eternally curious, a student of life and academia. She has achieved an Associates in Advanced Behavioral Health, a Bachelors in Applied Human Behavior, and is currently pursuing a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Northern Arizona University. Stephanie brings a wealth of varied experience serving people in every age, stage, and walk of life.
She began her career at Benevilla in 2008 and has passionately assisted and advocated for seniors and vulnerable persons in every position she has held. Stephanie envisions continuing the legacy of those before her in providing much-needed support and guidance for caregivers in our community.
Through our support groups and individual life coaching, she will encourage people to explore themselves creatively and openly, embrace their unique individuality, discover their strengths, courageously define goals, and challenge themselves to identify and implement changes they wish to make. Her overall goal is to help people process through their pain and struggles enabling them to achieve the wellness they envision.
Her strengths include being an encourager, peacemaker, empath, and a natural desire for the wellbeing of every person that crosses her path.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to and making music, off-roading in her Jeep “Andi”, hiking, camping, kayaking, fishing, or exploring places she has never been.
She says: “One of the best things I have learned is the importance of self-care and being fully present in the moment. We can’t avoid stress in this life, but we CAN learn to manage it in much healthier ways.”
