Benevilla Honored with Arizona LeadingAge Best Practices Award

June 13, 2025

We are excited to share that Benevilla has been honored with the 2025 Arizona LeadingAge Best Practices Award, a prestigious recognition celebrating organizations that go above and beyond in providing exceptional, person-centered care and innovative programs for older adults and families. This award reflects the dedication of our staff, volunteers, and supporters, and highlights the positive impact Benevilla continues to make for individuals and families throughout the West Valley.

At Benevilla, our mission is rooted in creating meaningful programs that promote independence, dignity, and quality of life. Our CARF-accredited Adult Day Life Enrichment Programs engage older adults in enriching, purposeful activities while providing peace of mind to families. Through our nationally accredited Wirtzie’s Preschool & Child Care, children and older adults build meaningful intergenerational connections, strengthening community bonds across generations.

Benevilla also focuses on supporting the health and wellness of individuals living with chronic conditions. The Benefitness Adaptive Gym provides specialized fitness programs designed for those managing Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, stroke recovery, and other physical challenges. Additionally, Benevilla offers free community workshops, dementia support programs, and neighborhood-based home services to help families navigate caregiving responsibilities with greater confidence and compassion.

Receiving this statewide recognition from Arizona LeadingAge is not only an honor—it represents the hard work, creativity, and compassion our entire Benevilla team brings to our community every day. It also reinforces our commitment to building an inclusive, supportive environment where older adults, family caregivers, individuals with disabilities, and young children can thrive together.

We are incredibly grateful to our staff, volunteers, community partners, and donors for making this achievement possible. Your continued support allows Benevilla to lead the way with innovative, person-centered programs that make a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve.

Thank you for being part of the Benevilla family and for helping us create a stronger, more compassionate community for everyone.
