On Saturday, October 27, Benevilla staff, volunteers, and supporters came together to make a difference at the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, held at the vibrant Westgate Entertainment District in Glendale. This meaningful event brought together community members from across the Valley to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research.
Nearly 30 individuals proudly represented Benevilla, walking side by side in honor of loved ones, caregivers, and those living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. The Benevilla team raised more than $600 to support the Alzheimer’s Association’s mission of advancing research and improving the lives of those affected by the disease.
The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event dedicated to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care and research. Every step taken represents hope for a future without Alzheimer’s. For Benevilla, the event is especially close to the organization’s heart—many of the individuals and families served by Benevilla’s Life Enrichment Day Programs and Benefitness Adaptive Gym are living with memory loss or supporting a loved one who is.
Through community engagement, caregiver support, and dementia education, Benevilla continues to help families navigate the challenges of Alzheimer’s and related conditions. The organization’s mission—to enrich lives through care, support, and community connection—aligns perfectly with the spirit of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
Donations to the Benevilla team can still be made to support this vital cause. To contribute, please visit https://act.alz.org/site/TR?team_id=970199&pg=team&fr_id=18427.
Together, Benevilla and its community partners are walking toward a future where no one faces Alzheimer’s alone.
