Benevilla invites caregivers to take part in a free Caregiver Drumming session on Wednesday, February 25, from 1:00 to 2:30 pm at the Benevilla Education Center in Sun City. This small group experience is designed to help caregivers reduce stress, recharge emotionally, and connect with others who understand the caregiving journey.
The session is part of a monthly caregiver drumming series facilitated by Drumming Sounds and led by founder Andrew Ecker. Through rhythm, movement, and sound, participants are guided through a hands-on experience that promotes relaxation, emotional release, and overall wellbeing.
No musical experience is needed, and all drums and materials are provided. The group is intentionally limited to 15 participants to create a supportive and welcoming environment where caregivers can feel comfortable and engaged.
Caregiving can be deeply meaningful, but it can also be demanding and isolating. This experience offers caregivers permission to pause, breathe, and focus on their own wellbeing in a creative and restorative way.
Space is limited, and reservations are required. Caregivers can sign up online or call for more information.
