Giving Tuesday Delivers Big Impact for Home Services

January 05, 2026

This Giving Tuesday, the Benevilla community showed up in a powerful way. Thanks to the generosity of donors across the West Valley and beyond, Benevilla raised more than $22,600 to support the Home Services Program, helping older adults and adults with disabilities remain safe, supported, and independent at home.

Giving Tuesday is a global day of generosity, and this year’s support directly benefits Benevilla Home Services, a volunteer-driven program that provides free, essential assistance to individuals who are housebound. From grocery shopping and prescription pick-ups to transportation for medical appointments, these services make everyday life more manageable for neighbors who might otherwise struggle to meet basic needs.

What makes this impact especially meaningful is that Home Services are offered at no cost to those who rely on them. Every donation received on Giving Tuesday helps ensure volunteers can continue showing up, offering not just practical help, but also companionship and connection that reduce isolation and support overall wellbeing.

“Many of our neighbors want to remain in their homes but simply cannot manage everyday tasks on their own,” shared Sara Villanueva, Vice President of Donor Relations for Benevilla. “The generosity shown on Giving Tuesday helps seniors stay safe, supported, and connected.”

Benevilla is deeply grateful to everyone who contributed, shared the message, or encouraged others to give. Together, these gifts will have a lasting ripple effect, helping individuals maintain independence and dignity while strengthening the caring community that Benevilla was built on.
