Wirtzie’s Preschool & Childcare Program – Surprise, AZ

$15.68/hour | Monday–Friday
Schedule: 11:00 PM–6:00 PM (based on ratio needs)

As a Teacher’s Assistant, you will:
• Support lead teachers in daily classroom activities and routines
• Assist with care, supervision, and engagement of children
• Help create a safe, nurturing, and fun learning environment
• Prepare materials, set up activities, and maintain a clean classroom
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff

What You’ll Need:
• Reliable transportation to the Surprise, AZ area
• 1 year of experience in early care and education or related experience (volunteering, nannying, or weekend nursery work counts)
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong customer service, organizational, and confidentiality skills
• Must complete a pre-employment health appraisal and maintain updated health documentation every two (2) years thereafter in accordance with NAC accreditation standards.
• Ability to obtain certifications including Fingerprint Clearance, CPR, TB/Chest X-Ray, and Food Handler’s (we provide support for certification costs)
