The 2025 Sun City West Witches Ride took flight on Friday, October 24th, at Beardsley Park, once again filling the community with laughter, creativity, and Halloween spirit—all for a great cause. This annual celebration, organized by the Sun City West Witches Club, raised an outstanding $13,905 to support Benevilla and its vital community programs.
Now a beloved tradition in the West Valley, the Witches Ride features a whimsical parade of festively decorated golf carts, bicycles, and vintage cars winding through Sun City West. Participants dressed in their Halloween best, bringing smiles to spectators and neighbors who gathered to cheer them on.
Following the parade, the fun continued with a lively celebration at Beardsley Park featuring live music, delicious fare from local food trucks, and plenty of
dancing under the evening sky.
“The Sun City West Witches have truly created something special for this community,” said Benevilla CEO Joanne Byers. “Their creativity and generosity make a real difference for the individuals and families we serve. We are deeply grateful for their continued support and the spirit they bring to this event every year.”
All proceeds from the Witches Ride benefit Benevilla, the long-standing nonprofit organization serving older adults, adults with disabilities, caregivers, children, and families across the West Valley.
