On Wednesday, June 25, the Benevilla Education Center welcomed local artist and dedicated volunteer John Yaeger for a unique caregiver workshop designed to inspire creativity and promote relaxation. The Take a Break, Pick Up a Brush event offered caregivers the chance to unwind, express themselves, and discover the calming benefits of painting in a supportive, judgment-free environment.
No art experience was required—just curiosity and a willingness to try something new. Participants explored the therapeutic power of art, learned simple painting techniques, and created their own meaningful works of art. The final pieces were nothing short of amazing, showcasing both the talent and the courage of those who stepped outside their comfort zones to embrace creativity.
