PART TIME/FULL TIME OPPORTUNITIES
WIRTZIE’S PRESCHOOL & DAYCARE
DIRECTOR OF CHILD DEVELOPMENT
Location: Wirtzie’s, Surprise, Arizona.
Rate of Pay: Salary/Exempt $54,371.20 py
Available Shift: FT 40 hours – Monday through Friday
What will you be doing? The director is responsible for oversight and management of Wirtzie’s Child Development Center. Key responsibilities include affirming the organization’s values; establishing goals, standards and performance measures; and ensuring high quality programs delivered in a caring, cost-effective and efficient manner. The director will develop strategies to achieve and maintain full enrollment capacity.
What qualifications do you need? Able to reliably commute or planning to relocate to Peoria/Sun City/Surprise, AZ area before starting work. (No Relocation Assistance)
*Bachelor’s Degree in higher or early childhood education/child development,
-or- a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field, with 12 college credits (semester hours) in early childhood education/child development; and 6 college credits (semester hours) in business administration/program management;
-or- 9 CEU’s in business administration/program management; or a state-approved Director/Administrator Credential;
*Requires minimum of one (1) year experience in administration of an early childhood program PLUS a minimum of two (2) years of teaching in an early care and education classroom.

LEAD TEACHER
Location: Main Campus, Surprise, Arizona.
Rate of Pay: $16.47 per hour.
Available Shift: Toddler’s Classroom (ages 2-3 years) Full Time, 40 hours, Monday through Friday, 6:30am – 3:30pm
What will you be doing? Leader in each classroom, display support and guidance to other teachers. Present developmentally appropriate activities which will assist each child in developing to their fullest potential and to support and respect the family diversity of each child. Provide a safe, warm, nurturing environment in which each individual child can grow physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually.
What qualifications do you need? Associates Degree with 12 college credits in early childhood education/development plus minimum 2 yrs. Current/Recent experience teaching in early care & education classroom preferred. Fingerprint clearance card, CPR, negative TB/chest X-ray.
TEACHER’S ASSISTANT
Location: Main Campus, Surprise, Arizona.
Rate of Pay: $14.50 per hour.
Various Shifts Available:
Note: Staffing is based on number of children in attendance so could be asked to leave early or to stay later based on those needs.
Shift Hours: 7:30am-4:00pm Monday through Friday Infant Classroom
Shift Hours: 9:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday Preschool Classroom
Shift Hours: Classroom Floater 24 to 29 hours per week
On-Call/As Needed: (Requires availability to work any shifts between 6:30am to 6:00pm) Monday through Friday.
What will you be doing? Work in coordination with Lead Teacher to present developmentally appropriate activities which will assist each child in developing to their fullest potential and to support and respect the family diversity of each child. Provide a safe, warm, nurturing environment in which each individual child can grow physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually. May be assigned to work in a variety of classrooms enriching the lives of children between the ages of 0 to 5 (infant to pre-k).
What qualifications do you need? Able to reliably commute or planning to relocate to Surprise, AZ area before starting work (No Relocation Assistance). Pursuing or have received High School diploma/GED equivalent. Prefer 1 year experience teaching in early care & education classroom. Will consider life experience gained through volunteering in weekend nursery/class, sitter/nanny. BENEVILLA
C.A.R.E.S. RESOURCE COORDINATOR
Location: Sun City, AZ
Work Hours: 8am-5pm, FT 40 hours, Monday through Friday
Rate of Pay: $18.59 per hour.
What will you be doing? * Answer phone calls/inquiries and determine caller’s need for care and/or services. Complete necessary intake to refer to appropriate Benevilla service or provide information and referral to outside resources through Benevilla database and/or Benevilla referral list in a timely manner. Maintain client information, complete data entry for records, audits and progress notes.
* Responsible for ensuring that Benevilla Home Services are delivered to member of specified geographical service area according to policies and procedures. Provide Home Services members with any additional needed resources as needed. Task training, scheduling and oversight of assigned volunteers.
* Assist with community outreach activities and attend staff and community meetings as requested.
What qualifications do you need?Ability to speak, read and write in both English & conversational Spanish preferred. Reliably commute or planning to relocate to Peoria/Sun City area before starting work. (No Relocation Assistance)
Associates Degree plus 1 year experience intake/referral to community resources for elderly/disabled

DIRECTOR OF MARKETING
Location: Surprise, AZ
Available Shift: Full Time 40 hours
Rate of Pay: $75,098.00 Salary/Exempt
What will you be doing? The position directs the activities of the Marketing Department and provides strategic direction for ensuring an innovative and forward-thinking promotion of agency services. The Director of Marketing is responsible for developing and implementing tactical outreach activities, to accomplish the strategic marketing goals for the agency. The position will represent Benevilla at appropriate networking opportunities, community events, and build strong relationships with existing and potential community partners and referral sources. The position provides leadership to marketing staff members and serves as a member of the Benevilla Leadership Team.
What qualifications do you need?Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications, with three to five years of proven marketing experience in a management role. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Social Media Management Hootsuite, Constant Contact and WordPress preferred.
VOLUNTEER SERVICES COORDINATOR
Location: Volunteer Services Program-Sun City, AZ
Available Shift: Full Time 40 hours 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday
Rate of Pay: $19.76 per hour
What will you be doing? Assist the Director of Volunteer Services with all points of the volunteer life cycle: agency needs assessment, recruitment, interviewing, orientation, placement, recognition and retention. The position will identify and implement a comprehensive action plan to strengthen and enhance the volunteer services program to impact all areas of the Benevilla programs. The Volunteer Services Coordinator will build a strategic, engaged volunteer experience and will cultivate long-term relationships to drive the Benevilla mission.
What qualifications do you need?Bachelor’s degree in social services, nonprofit management or resource management preferred. Four (4) years of proven experience of volunteer management and training in a nonprofit or health care field acceptable in place of the Bachelor’s degree. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to meet people with ease, communicate one-on-one and in group settings. Possess excellent written communication skills, time management, public speaking and presentation skills. Ability to be self-managed. Ability to meet deadlines, monitor and report team outcomes and goal analysis. Proficient in Microsoft office software.
ENRICHMENT PARTNER
Primary Location: West Valley Life Enrichment Program, Peoria, AZ.
Shift Available: Monday through Friday 11:00am to 4:00pm or 5:00pm (25 or 30 hours / week).
Rate of Pay: $14.50 per hour.

What will you be doing? Enriching the lives of Adult Day Program members by assisting members with individualized activities, personal hygiene, and meals.

(No Relocation Assistance) HS Diploma/GED Equivalent. 1-2 years current/recent experience in Adult Day Program, Adult Group Home or as in home caregiver serving elderly members. HEALTH & WELLNESS RN ON CALL/AS NEEDED
Primary Location: Enrichment Programs – Peoria, Sun City, Surprise, AZ
Available shifts: On Call/As Needed between 9am-3pm Mon-Fri/Must be available to accept shifts with 1 hour notice.
Rate of Pay: $28.72 per hour.
What will you be doing? Assessing members’ health status, providing nursing services, health and wellness counseling/education necessary to meet each member’s individual needs and assisting the Director of Life Enrichment as a member of a multi-disciplinary team. Provide engaging person directed programing, which includes implementing relationship-based meaningful individualized activities, providing choices, encouraging the members to be as independent as possible.
What qualifications do you need?HS diploma or GED certification, Current AZ or Compact State RN License, Minimum of 2 years Adult Day Program, Healthcare, Public Health or Home Care experience, Computer/documentation skills required, Fingerprint Clearance Card, CPR, TB/Chest Xray
BENEFITNESS ADAPTIVE GYM
FITNESS EXERCISE COACH – ON CALL/AS NEEDED
Location: Surprise, AZ
Work Hours: On Call / As Needed / 8:00am – 4:00pm / Monday through Friday. Must be available to accept shifts with 1 hour notice.
Rate of Pay: $20.10 per hour – ($25 per hour with National Certification).
What will you be doing? Provide engaging person-centered directed exercise programming, which includes relationship-based meaningful and individualized exercise programs, providing choices, and encouraging members to maximize their body’s ability. This position receives supervision from the Director of Benefitness. This position is an essential part of the interdisciplinary team and assists with enriching the daily lives of the members.
What qualifications do you need?
High School diploma or GED certification and (3) three years of experience that could include: working as a group fitness instructor, personal trainer or exercise coach. Must have proof of negative TB test (within the last 6 months) and Level 1 Fingerprint card. Must possess, or be able to obtain, current CPR, AED and first aid certifications.(Benevilla will assist with the costs to obtain).
