Benevilla invites community members, caregivers, and families to attend a West Valley Life Enrichment Adult Day Program Open House on Wednesday, March 11, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Church at Cactus. The event offers an opportunity to tour the program, experience enrichment activities, and learn how adult day services support individuals living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, Mild Cognitive Impairment, Parkinson’s, stroke recovery, other age-related challenges, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Guests will be able to explore interactive demonstrations that reflect a typical day in the program, including music and hands-on enrichment experiences designed to promote dignity, connection, cognitive engagement, and physical activity.
Prior to the Open House, attendees are invited to participate in a free wellness workshop titled Fast Food A Fun Twist, led by Lorrie Karn, Director of Benefitness. The session will share practical strategies for preparing quick, healthy meals that support busy professionals and caregivers alike.
Program members, caregivers, staff, and volunteers will be available to answer questions and share personal insights about the value of respite, structure, and peace of mind the program provides. Light refreshments will be served.
