Benevilla Free Workshop On Choosing the Right Senior Care

January 18, 2022

The popular Benevilla “Education Event Series” continues Wednesday, January 26th at 1:30PM with a free, online workshop titled “Choosing the Right Care.”  It features a Benevilla C.A.R.E.S. partner and local expert on home care, presenter, Presley Reader Owner of ComForCare Home Care.  Homecare is health and supportive care provided by a professional caregiver in an individual’s home as opposed to care provided in group accommodations like clinics or nursing homes.

When living alone at home is no longer an option, due to dementia or physical challenges, finding support for your loved one can seem an impossible task.  What are the in-home care services available to older adults to maintain a purposeful life no matter where they call home?  What are the differences between non-medical care, companionship care, palliative care, social care, and dementia care?  How can these help your loved one live at home longer?  How much does it cost?  These are just a few of the questions faced when living at home independently is no longer possible.

This free presentation is part of the 2022 yearlong Benevilla C.A.R.E.S. Virtual “Educational Workshop” series featuring carefully selected professionals who can answer your questions and provide guidance, practical solutions, and resources you may need to prepare for senior life changes, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

To reduce the risk of public exposure during the COVID-19 pandemic, Benevilla continues to host all their popular education workshops as live, online Zoom events.  Upcoming workshops cover a broad range of important topics from memory care and hospice to estate preparation and tax savings tips.

Reservations are required. When you register for the event, please provide a working email address.   You will then be provided a secure link and password as well as easy to follow instructions on how to attend via the secure Zoom video conference application.
