February 22, 2024

Benevilla is excited to announce their 3rd annual Preferred Partners Health Resource Fair will take place Thursday, April 4th from 9:00AM until noon. This free event will include interactive health activities, caregiver resources, wellness screenings, a healthy meals demonstration, volunteer opportunities, fitness classes, a farmer’s market, food, fun and more. There will also be coffee, drinks and tasty eats available from local food trucks. The fair will be held outdoors in the parking lot of the Benevilla main campus located at 16752 N. Greasewood St., Surprise, 85378.

This important community event provides families, caregivers and those looking for help with their loved ones expert guidance and valuable information to assist them with the challenges they may be facing. Make sure to save the date!

The fair will highlight the Benevilla C.A.R.E.S. “Preferred Partners” program consisting of over 20 local senior services providers Benevilla has formed dynamic partnerships with. Each organization has a commitment to quality and unsurpassed business ethics. They have been vetted, are ethical, and are leaders in their professional community. When you are referred to a Benevilla C.A.R.E.S. partner you can be assured each supports the Benevilla mission and you will receive professional and principled service.

The expert advice and resources of the preferred partners range from senior living options and placement to hospice and home care choices, elder law, geriatric care management, fiduciary services, estate planning and supervision and more.

There will be Benevilla programs information available, as well, highlighting our Life Enrichment Adult Day programs, free support groups, free home services, and our free C.A.R.E.S. (Community Assistance, Resources, Education and Support) resource department. The new Benevilla Benefitness Adaptive Gym will also be open with live fitness class demonstrations and Rock Steady Boxing classes.

“Benevilla is excited to have so many local senior services experts in one place at one time to support our aging population in the Northwest valley,” says Benevilla President and CEO, Joanne Thomson. “Today, 30-60% of caregivers pass from illnesses related to caregiver stress before the person they are caring for. That’s why getting family caregivers this type of specialized support and information are crucial for our aging communities and their families.”
