Benevilla Honors Community Service and Business Leadership Champions with Awards at Virtual Donor Event

December 09, 2020

Benevilla hosted their annual Major Donor Appreciation event virtually with a small group of in-person attendees at Birt’s Bistro Restaurant November 10th to honor leaders who have influenced and made significant contributions to improving the lives of residents who live and work in our community and have generously contributed to sustain and grow the non-profit organization.  Highlights of the event included awards for Community Service and Business Leadership.  Although the attendees interacted virtually, it was a festive event showcasing the appreciation Benevilla has for the hard work, dedication, and passion our donors demonstrate.

Benevilla would like to congratulate Sun City West resident, Aloise Failing-Wrobel, the recipient of the Benevilla 2020 Bill Wolfrey Community Service award.  Aloise has been a true friend to Benevilla over the years and we are so grateful for all she has and will continue to do to support our mission in the community.

Also, congratulations to The City of Peoria, the Benevilla 2020 Business Leadership Award Honoree.  The City of Peoria has been highly supportive of Benevilla for over 21 years.  Through grant funding, sponsorship support, and donations of in-kind office space they support our mission and encourage our work within their city.  Lisa Mattox, Peoria Human Services Coordinator was on hand to accept the award on the City’s behalf.

“Benevilla would not be the amazing resource it is today in the Northwest Valley without the support of our incredibly selfless donors” states Sara Villanueva, Benevilla Vice President of Donor Relations. “We sincerely appreciate all they do for us and our community.”
