Benevilla Hosting Free Tax Credit Workshop November 14th

November 09, 2023

Arizona tax credit contributions are an excellent way to direct your tax dollars where you want them to go and provide an opportunity to offset a significant amount of tax liability. The state of Arizona offers its taxpayers the opportunity to make contributions to schools and other qualifying non-profit organizations through various tax credit programs reducing the amount of tax owed to the state (or increase the amount of a taxpayer’s refund) on a dollar-for-dollar basis.

Learn all about Arizona tax credits at our next free Benevilla education workshop Tuesday, November 14th from 1:30PM to 2:30PM titled “Smart Ways to Give and the Benefits of Arizona State Tax Credit Donations.” This interactive presentation will be held in person on the Benevilla main campus located at 16752 N. Greasewood St., Surprise, 85378 and via the easy-to-use online Zoom platform.

“Did you know there have been recent changes to the AZ tax credit program, and you can now claim more in donations?” asked Benevilla President and CEO Joanne Thomson. “Gary Frisch, CPA at Landmark CPAs and Financial Advisors will review ways to reduce both state and federal taxes, including Arizona State Tax Credit donations and those recent changes.”

Gary Frisch, CPA with Landmark CPA’s, is the expert presenter for the event. Attendees will benefit from information on all the available Arizona State tax credits available, advantages and requirements of each tax credit program, and expert insights into how savvy taxpayers can charitably donate and lower their taxes based on the recent tax law changes. Whether you typically itemize or take the standard deduction there are some strategies you can use to receive new tax savings as well as other non-tax benefits. He will also discuss how to reduce taxable income when withdrawing Required Minimum Distributions (RMD’s) from IRA accounts.

This FREE presentation is part of the Benevilla popular community “Education Event Series.” Each workshop features carefully selected professionals who can answer your questions and provide guidance and resources you may need to prepare for senior life changes.
