Benevilla Life Enrichment Programs Waive Enrollment Fees

August 08, 2023

The Benevilla Life Enrichment Day programs have been enriching lives for over 25 years. The programs provide daytime care for members with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease as well as adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities or stroke survivors living in the West Valley of Phoenix. Benevilla has 4 Life Enrichment Programs, 3 of which have immediate openings. If you have a loved one who would benefit from one of the programs, Benevilla will waive the assessment fee until September 30, 2023. The regular Assessment fee is $155 for Mary’s Place and $130 for the Helping Partners and West Valley programs.

“Our amazing Life Enrichment Day Programs provide respite for family members caring for a loved one. Caregivers need time off from the stress and challenges of caring for a loved one. For every person enrolled in a Benevilla program, two people get their lives back: the individual and the caregiver” said Lisa Minette, Senior Director of Enrichment.

The 3 programs with immediate openings include Mary’s Place located at 14601 N. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, 85351. This is a secure facility for those experiencing moderate to advanced stages of Alzheimer’s and other related dementias. The Helping Partners program is also located at 14601 N. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, 85351. Fun, safe and inspiring, the Helping Partners Life Enrichment Program is designed for adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. The West Valley program located at 8133 W. Cactus Rd., Peoria, AZ 85381 supports those who live in Peoria, Glendale, and Phoenix. This program welcomes stroke survivors, those with Parkinson’s, dementia, and adults with intellectual disabilities.

All Benevilla Life Enrichment programs are home-like, friendly and specially designed to best serve member needs. Each program offers qualified, trained, compassionate, staff and purposeful and engaging activities for mental and physical stimulation. Activities are adapted for specific physical challenges to include everyone’s participation. Members have the best of all worlds: a socially inviting, club-like atmosphere with the support of amazing professionals and dedicated volunteers focused on the personal needs of each member. With a focus on socialization, activities include cognitive stimulation through brain games, group exercise and activities, a creative arts program, discussion groups, public outings and interaction with participant centric entertainment including singing, dance, and memory challenges. The program provides the latest in proven therapeutic methods for increased levels of happiness and engagement for all members.

A specially designed “Essential Lifestyle Program” is tailored for your loved one by an Enrichment Specialist and implemented by Benevilla staff. Your loved one will also receive morning and afternoon snacks and a nutritious lunch prepared fresh each day.

“Outings, delicious meals, and social exchanges create enjoyable days for our members. This provides caregivers with the perfect options for respite. Everyone can benefit from the opportunity to connect with others in meaningful ways, no matter their age or medical diagnosis” says Courtney Allen, Benevilla Vice President of Program Operations.
