Benevilla is excited to announce they raised $75,000 during their “Golfing fore Good” tournament fundraiser Friday, March 3rd at the beautiful Wigwam Golf Course. It was a beautiful day and a very successful event. 144 golfers attended the four-person scramble and enjoyed loads of fun playing in the numerous tournament player activities including top score prizes, a hole-in-one contest with a chance to split a $10,000 cash prize with Benevilla, a 50/50 raffle, closest to the pin contests and drawings for lots of great raffle prizes. The golf was followed by a lunch and award ceremony.
Proceeds from this event support the many programs Benevilla, a West Valley nonprofit organization, provides with extensive support services for older adults, adults with disabilities, children, and the families who care for them. Benevilla is proud to continue serving the community since 1981 through their Life Enriching Adult Day Programs, Benefitness Adaptive Gym, free Home Services including grocery shopping, transportation to medical appointments, caregiver support groups, and many other vital community support programs.
