Northwest Valley Connect Welcomes New Executive Director

March 07, 2023

The Northwest Valley Connect Board of Directors is happy to introduce Brian Bell as our new Executive Director.

Brian Bell started on February 7th, 2023. He comes to Northwest Valley Connect (NVC) infused with a plethora of leadership experience that will prove to be highly beneficial for the populations NVC serves. Brian will be working his way in to the community over the next few weeks to meet our various community partners, riders, staff and of course getting established over all with NVC processes and procedures.

Brian comes to NVC with more than 20 years of experience serving in senior leadership roles within the military, education, athletic and nonprofit organizations. As the Executive Director for NVC, he will be responsible for overall operations of the organization, including transportation coordination, collaboration with area transit providers, quality assurance and building relationships with key stakeholders in the community. Prior to his position with NVC, Brian served as the Executive Director at a nonprofit that served veterans who struggled with combat related posttraumatic stress (PTS). He also worked as the Senior Area Director for a nonprofit serving individuals and families affected by disability. He has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Management and completed his graduate education (MMS) at the Marine Corps University, with an emphasis in leadership and strategy.

Brian lives in Northwest Glendale with his wife Dawn. They enjoy hiking, the outdoors, serving others and spending time with their family.

We are looking forward to this new growth, as NVC further flourishes with this new leadership.

Northwest Valley Connect advances equality, human dignity and strengthens the quality of life for residents and communities by addressing the transportation culture of those aging in place, persons with disabilities and veterans, offering choices that improve independence.
