Senior Care Education and Resources Draw Full House to Free Benevilla Caregiver Connect March 6th

March 11, 2020

Caregivers found a wealth of information, expert guidance and advice on caring for their loved ones at the first Benevilla 2020 Caregiver Connect Event March 6th at Bellevue Heights Church in Sun City.

This free annual event featured expert presentations by Dr. Maribeth Gallagher of Hospice of the Valley titled “The Language of Distress” and Lori Nisson of Banner Alzheimer’s Institute and Banner Sun Health Research Institute on “Ambiguous Loss.”  A short informational session on “The Option of Benevilla Life Enrichment Day Programs” concluded the event.

Benevilla also welcomed over 50 senior care agencies, including a variety of Benevilla C.A.R.E.S. Partners, sharing their resources on everything from placement and homecare to insurance, elder law and much more.  Attendees were treated to a wonderful complimentary breakfast catered by Birt’s Bistro.

Thank you to the Caregiver Connect Event Series Sponsor, Western State Bank and to Bellevue Heights for providing the wonderful space. The next free Benevilla Caregiver Connect event will be held on November 6, 2020 at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Sun City West.
