Benevilla is hosting a free, in-person planning workshop with Kristen Mihaljevic, Thursday, April 11, 2024, at 1:30PM on their main campus located at 16752 N. Greasewood St., Surprise, 85378. The Senior Director of Planned Giving at Arizona Community Foundation, Kristen will discuss smart and effective charitable giving options. This session will focus on charitable gifts that don’t involve a lawyer, including Donor Advised Funds (DAFs). We’ll explore various avenues through which individuals can make a meaningful impact on causes they care about. Come prepared to get your questions answered. What are DAFs and how do they work? What are the benefits of using DAFs for charitable giving? What are the various DAF providers and their features?
Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, Kristen’s career began in healthcare where she transitioned her experience into medical fundraising. Kristen brings proven experience in nonprofit leadership and capacity building to her role as Senior Director of Planned Giving at the Arizona Community Foundation. In addition to stewarding a portfolio of fund holders, Kristen also serves as the Director of the Arizona Endowment Building Institute.
