Benevilla is excited to announce their West Valley Life Enrichment Day program will be hosting an “Open House” October 6th from 5PM until 7PM. The program is located at the Church at Cactus, 8133 W Cactus Rd., Peoria, AZ, 85381. One of 4 Benevilla Life Enrichment Programs, this stimulating and interactive program supports a diverse group of people with a wide range of care needs. The program provides daytime care for members with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and Parkinson’s disease as well as adults with disabilities or those disabled by a stroke who live in Peoria, Glendale, and West Phoenix.
Activities are adapted for specific physical challenges to include everyone’s participation. Members have the best of all worlds: a socially inviting, club-like atmosphere with the support of amazing professionals and dedicated volunteers focused on the personal needs of every member. With a focus on socialization, activities include cognitive stimulation through brain games, meaningful activities, group exercise, a creative arts program, discussion groups, public outings and interaction with participant centric entertainment including singing, dance, and memory challenges. The program provides the latest in proven therapeutic methods for increased levels of happiness and engagement for all members. The West Valley Program has been in operation for over 22 years. A specially designed “Essential Lifestyle Program” is tailored for your loved one by an Enrichment Specialist and implemented by Benevilla staff.
Outings, delicious meals, and social exchanges create enjoyable days for members, providing caregivers the perfect options for respite. Everyone can benefit from the opportunity to connect with others in meaningful ways, no matter their age or medical diagnosis. Benevilla Life Enrichment Day Programs provide respite for family members caring for a loved one. Caregivers need time off from the stresses and strains of caring for loved one. For every person enrolled in a Benevilla program, two people get their lives back: the individual and the caregiver.
